Red Line Design can produce a complete design and submittal package for fire alarm, security systems, access control, and CCTV systems. Our designs will comply with the appropriate NFPA Codes and manufactures requirements. We can design systems from the conception stage and follow it to the final as built drawings. We will work with your customer and thier architects and engineers to develop the appropriate system for thier needs. We have designed system for all types of facilities from small retail to large multi-location multi-building customers. We have worked with large retail chains, medical facilities, logistics centers, manufacturing facilities, chemical plants, and waste treatment facilities.
We have worked with fire and building code officials in most major cities in the US as well as many smaller jurisdictions. This is our way of insuring that the design that we create for you and your customer will meet the local requirements and keep your job on schedule and profitable.
To insure the most accurate design it is preferable that you supply us with a set of AutoCAD .DWG drawings. We do have the ability to reproduce your paper drawings in AutoCAD if needed. All information we add to the drawings will be placed on separate layers so that it can be easily manipulated. We use the latest version of AutoCAD. The files can be returned to you as AutoCAD .DWG files of as Adobe .PDF files. We also have the ability to supply you with paper prints of the drawings in Black and White or color.
We will place devices on the drawings to comply with NFPA codes and manufacture spacing requirements. We will locate power supplies and other equipment for the most economical installation or as required by you or your customer. We will locate circuits on the drawings to ensure proper voltage and current to all devices in the system. Should you require we can place addressing information on the drawings for you.
We will prepare battery standby calculations to insure that the system will operate on battery for the code required standby time and in alarm for the required amount of time.
We will prepare Voltage drop calculation on all power circuits. This will insure that there is sufficient voltage and current at the last device on the circuit to operate for the required amount of time during power interruptions and under low battery condition.
